Solar Energy Project Development Services and Expertise
Riverside Solar works with landowners, organizations and governmental institutions to help seamlessly develop solar farms and commercial solar projects across the United States.
Whether working with farmers in the Midwest or landowners in the Southeast, we bring years of professional experience to guide a project through the planning and development processes. We take the lead on everything a project needs to be ready for installation: grid feasibility analysis, environmental assessment, design, engineering, permits, land use approvals, power purchase agreements with local utility companies, and other project due diligence. We work with industry partners to secure credit-worthy sources of project financing and professional installation services.

Past Projects
Canton Solar Farm
Riverside Solar's founder Brownie Newman helped develop and finance the first solar farm in Western North Carolina. The 500 kW system was constructed in 2009 on a retired landfill in Canton, North Carolina.

Raleigh Convention Center
The Convention Center project was developed in 2012 without requiring any capital investment from the city of Raleigh. Instead, the City simply leased their roof space for the solar installation. Solar investors provided the financing for the installation and the power is sold to Duke Energy. This a now a common model for development of solar farm projects and commercial projects.
